1 · Agreement & scope

Your agreement with GrowBridge LLC

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the GrowBridge website at growbridge.io, the GrowBridge product application at app.growbridge.io, and related services we provide (collectively, the “Service”).

By creating an account, connecting hardware, submitting a form, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

GrowBridge is operated by GrowBridge LLC. Questions about these Terms: hello@growbridge.io.

2 · The Service

What GrowBridge is — and is not

GrowBridge is a software-only, hardware-agnostic platform that helps controlled-environment agriculture (CEA) and hydroponics growers unify sensor and controller data, monitor grow environments, and receive AI-assisted recommendations toward goals they define.

What we provide

  • A unified command-center dashboard for grow data from supported hardware vendors.
  • Integrations through each vendor’s documented public API — you keep the hardware you already own.
  • AI-assisted analysis and recommendations with clear reasoning — designed for human review before action.
  • Account management, grow profiles, and operational notifications.

What we do not provide

  • We do not sell, manufacture, or install grow hardware, sensors, or controllers.
  • We do not guarantee crop yields, compliance with local regulations, or suitability for a particular crop or facility.
  • We do not replace your judgment as the grower — you remain responsible for every decision that affects your plants, equipment, and business.
  • We do not provide legal, financial, or licensed agricultural consulting.

The marketing site at growbridge.io describes our product vision and collects beta interest. The live product dashboard is at app.growbridge.io. Features described on the marketing site or roadmap may not yet be available in the product; see § 7 Beta terms.

3 · Accounts & beta access

Signing up and staying secure

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account and use the product app.

Authentication is handled through our identity provider (Clerk), including optional Sign in with Google. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your sign-in credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@growbridge.io if you suspect unauthorized access.

Beta access

GrowBridge is currently in beta. During beta:

  • New sign-ups may require administrator approval before full product access is granted.
  • We may approve or decline access based on hardware fit, environment type, capacity, and beta wave — always with the option to re-apply in a future wave.
  • Existing approved accounts retain access according to the beta policy in effect at sign-in; we do not gate authenticated users who already completed onboarding unless these Terms are violated.
  • Beta participants may receive product updates, surveys, and direct communication from our team.

Grow profile

After sign-up you complete a grow profile (rooms, crops, environment type, integration preferences). Accurate profile data helps GrowBridge surface relevant recommendations. You may update your profile in the product app at any time.

4 · Acceptable use

How you may — and may not — use GrowBridge

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes related to operating or monitoring your grow environment.

You may

  • Connect hardware you own or are authorized to operate, using valid API credentials.
  • View, export, and act on data and recommendations for your own grow operations.
  • Provide feedback, feature requests, and bug reports to help us improve the Service.

You may not

  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract source code or models except as permitted by law.
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems without written permission.
  • Use the Service to transmit malware, spam, or unlawful content.
  • Impersonate another person, misrepresent your affiliation, or share account credentials.
  • Circumvent beta-access, authentication, or rate limits.
  • Use GrowBridge recommendations to operate equipment in a way that violates manufacturer safety guidelines, local fire or building codes, or applicable law.
  • Resell, sublicense, or white-label the Service except under a separate written agreement with GrowBridge (Phase 4+ offering).

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules or pose a security or operational risk to the Service or other users.

5 · Hardware integrations

Third-party hardware & public APIs

GrowBridge connects to supported hardware vendors through their public APIsusing credentials you provide. We do not control those vendors’ hardware, firmware, cloud uptime, API availability, or data accuracy.

  • Your credentials. API keys and OAuth tokens you enter remain your responsibility. Store them securely; revoke them with the vendor if you disconnect GrowBridge or close your account.
  • Vendor terms.Your use of third-party hardware and APIs is also subject to each vendor’s own terms and privacy policies. GrowBridge is not a party to those agreements.
  • No vendor endorsement. Listing a integration on our site or in the product does not imply partnership, certification, or warranty by the hardware vendor.
  • Experimental adapters. Some integrations may be labeled experimental when API coverage is partial or vendor documentation is limited. Use experimental integrations at your own discretion.

If a vendor changes or deprecates an API, GrowBridge will work to adapt the integration — but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted compatibility with every device or firmware version.

6 · AI & human-in-the-loop

Recommendations you approve — not autonomy we impose

GrowBridge’s vision is autonomous intelligence for any setup — but today and throughout beta, the Service is built on human-in-the-loop design: AI agents analyze your data and surface recommendations; you decide whether to act.

  • Recommendations (moisture, irrigation, climate, nutrients, and future agent types) are informational — not instructions GrowBridge executes on your behalf unless and until you explicitly enable and approve automated actions in a future product release.
  • AI outputs may be incomplete, outdated, or wrong. Sensor drift, API gaps, model limits, and unusual grow conditions can all affect accuracy.
  • You must verify recommendations against your own expertise, local regulations, crop requirements, and equipment manuals before changing irrigation, nutrients, lighting, or climate settings.
  • GrowBridge does not promise full autonomy, specific yield outcomes, or replacement of licensed agronomists or facility managers.

As we expand agent capabilities in later phases, we will continue to gate material actions behind grower approval and document changes in these Terms and in-product notices.

7 · Beta terms

Building in the open — honest beta expectations

GrowBridge is under active development (Phase 1.5). Beta means the Service may change frequently and not every roadmap item is shipped yet.

  • Features evolve. We may add, modify, or remove features, integrations, or UI without prior notice. We aim to communicate material changes through in-app messages, email, or our public roadmap.
  • Availability. We target high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access during beta. Maintenance, deploys, and third-party outages may cause temporary unavailability.
  • No SLA. Beta is provided without a service-level agreement unless you have a separate signed enterprise contract with GrowBridge.
  • Feedback license. By submitting feedback, bug reports, or feature ideas, you grant GrowBridge a perpetual, royalty-free license to use that input to improve the Service without obligation to you.

8 · Fees & billing

Free beta today; paid tiers later

During the current beta period, access to core GrowBridge features is free unless we notify you otherwise in writing. Our pricing page describes planned future tiers (Pro, commercial) for informational purposes only — it is not an offer to sell until billing is enabled in the product.

When paid plans launch, we will update these Terms, provide advance notice to existing users, and obtain any required consent before charging your payment method. You may cancel before billing begins if you do not accept new pricing.

Taxes, refunds, and subscription terms for paid plans will be specified at launch and may vary by region.

9 · Privacy & your data

Your information

Our Privacy Policy explains what personal information and grow data we collect, how we use it (including Sign in with Google), and your choices. By using the Service you also agree to the Privacy Policy.

You retain ownership of the grow data and content you submit. You grant GrowBridge a limited license to host, process, and display that data solely to operate and improve the Service for you — including generating recommendations and aggregated, de-identified analytics that do not identify you personally.

10 · Disclaimers & liability

Important legal limits

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.”

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GrowBridge disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or meet your requirements.

Grow decisions are yours

GrowBridge is a software tool. Crop loss, equipment damage, regulatory violations, or financial loss arising from actions you take (or fail to take) based on dashboard data, alerts, or AI recommendations are your responsibility. Always maintain independent monitoring and safety systems appropriate to your operation.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GrowBridge LLC and its officers, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, crops, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid GrowBridge in the twelve (12) months before the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100) during free beta when you have paid nothing.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GrowBridge LLCfrom claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights — including hardware vendor terms.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers or liability limits; in those cases, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by applicable law.

11 · Termination & changes

Ending use, updates, and contact

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. To delete your account and associated data, email hello@growbridge.io. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service — with reasonable notice when practicable.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the product matures. Material changes will be reflected by an updated Last updated date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, by email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Before formal proceedings, we encourage you to contact us at hello@growbridge.io so we can try to resolve disputes informally.
